At Paws Care, we are aware that effective care depends on early discovery and precise diagnosis. To obtain a comprehensive picture of your pet’s health and spot any underlying problems, we provide a variety of diagnostic tests.
- CBC (Complete Blood Count): It is a blood test that counts the red and white blood cells, hemoglobin, and platelets in your pet’s blood. Anemia, infections, and other disorders that might not be apparent during a physical examination can be found with the use of a complete blood count (CBC).
- X-Rays and Ultrasound Imaging: With the use of non-invasive imaging methods like X-rays and ultrasounds, we can see into your pet’s body and identify internal issues like tumors, broken bones, or anomalies in organs. While ultrasounds provide real-time pictures of soft tissues and organs, X-rays provide precise images of bones and joints.
- Blood Parasite Testing: Your pet’s health may be seriously endangered by parasites such as heartworms and diseases spread by ticks. By identifying these risks early on, our blood parasite tests enable us to take precautions or start treatment before they have a chance to do any damage.
